It was 7 o'clock in the city of Los Angeles. It was a warm muggy night. It was not glove weather. Sometimes people wear gloves anyway. That's where i come in--I carry a badge.....

Howard Hesseman (billed as Don Sturdy early in his career), has had a successful career. Susan Seaforth had a long gig as Julie on Days of Our Lives (like sands through the hour glass).

Lorraine Gary made her first screen appearance in the Dragnet episode, "The Big Shipment." That was the one about the pilot who ran away after his place crashed carrying drugs. She played the pilot's wife.

Later, Lorraine played Ellen Brody in all the Jaws movies.

Yes, when I saw Ms. Grey I thought she looked familiar. So I looked up the Shipment episode and saw she was Chief Brody's wife in Jaws. Great episode. We learned Gannon could read Spanish, plus the funny line: "can you hand me my leg?" Always makes me laugh.

Super Star lawyer to the stars, THEE entertainment lawyer in Hollywood, Bert Fields!. Bert is in "The Pyramid Swindle" episode (with Virginia Gregg as the swindler!!) playing the Deputy DA.

He was admitted to the Bar in 53, this episode was filmed in 67, so he was about 38 y/o, but he looks much younger.
