One Thing That IS Common To Every Single Episode Except One

The episode is the Christmas episode about the baby Jesus icon being stolen.
There is something that happens in every single other episode except this one. Can you figure out what it is?

Other than this is the only episode not based on a real event? Probably they didn't have the suspect standing in front of the lineup wall.

You answered it right! It is the only episode that doesnt have the prologue "The story you are about to see is true..."

All the other episodes were based on cases out of Los Angeles, but this one was based on a case from San Francisco.
