Laurence Olivier in the audience

They recently reran the episode where Carol pointed out Sir Laurence sitting in her audience and they gave him a standing ovation. I actually remember when that episode originally aired. What had me tripping, though, was seeing Olivier wearing a leisure suit! It's one thing to see the man who played Hamlet and Othello at a variety show taping, but to see him dressed so casually...(even if it WAS the Seventies).

I saw that, too, and had the same reaction! It's one of the reasons I hated the 70's-all the classic movie stars stopped looking glamorous.

I told you a million times not to talk to me when I'm doing my lashes!
