Dialogue query
I watched this recently and in the scene early on where Curt is talking with Keith, Curt says, "You've had a remarkable career, Keith. Every scholastic honour and degree. We need you here. And I'm sorry for what's happened between you and powers that be, but I just can't--". Then Keith interrupts with what sounds like, "The world is full of *beep*
Admittedly, the sound quality is terrible and the dialogue is difficult to hear a lot of the time, but does anybody know what the line actually is, if not as above? I can't imagine that line would be said on TV in 1966, but I've listened to it many times and can't think what else it could be.
