Tony Huston Is No Lee Van Cleef
Nor is John Agar comparable to Peter Graves(what a great name for a genre star!). Just a bit too leaden-a Larry Buchanan(any relation to Pat?) trademark. Eye Creatures is slightly? better.
shareyuh. john agar is no peter graves. he's more like maclaine stevenson from mash. (it's the illinois accent.} and tony huston reminds me of will mckenzie, who played larry bondurant, carol's boyfriend (and later husband) from the old "bob newhart show." so their performances lend a comedic element, intentional or not, to the proceedings.

This Buchanan guy got a deal to remake these things for television release. Main emphasis was to make them as fast and as cheaply as possible. He had to hope that these little efforts would at least be campy, but hard to stay awake. Therefore, the final verdict is that these "films" are simply bad.
