WHAT A PIECE OF *beep*

It appears that the problems in George and Martha's marriage was their inability to conceive a son.
OMG, what crock!
Did Martha's precious Daddy expect her to bear a male heir to his position as president of that nothing college?
And did Martha blame George because she couldn't?
How stupidly medieval!!

It's movies like this that make me so happy that I NEVER married or had kids!

What in the world are you talking about? It's a MOVIE--not real life! I'm happily married with a wonderful daughter. It's been a joy...I can't imagine my life without my husband and my child.

IN regards to this movie, the problems in George and Martha's marriage went far deeper than her inability to conceive.

This really hit a nerve with you, huh? Bad childhood?

Trust me, you made the right decision. The human gene pool could really do without another one of you.

Gotta say, I agree about not having kids, and questionable about marriage, but have neither. I'd probably be a multi time divorce case.

As far as kids, I like kids, but not a fan of the excessive responsibility. I watch the crap my friends go through with newborns, with teens, and children back home into their thirties with drug and alcohol issues, and lack of jobs.

Why is this attractive?
