Saw it in theater, I was an usher.
As a 16 year old usher I really enjoyed both Burton and Taylors wonderful acting performances although at the time I really did not really appreciate the whole story. A little over my head. But after having to be subjected to any movie dozens of times you get bored with it and probably can recite every line.
Another Burton/Taylor movie that I ushered was the Sandpiper. Extremely slow moving but it still has in my opinion a truly great performance by Burton as Rev. Hewitt. His quiet humility in this movie is spellbinding. After watching some movies dozens of times you appreciate when you can enjoy great acting.
