Nick and Honey
I just finally watched this for the first time, yesterday on the new warner blu ray. I didn't immediately catch the reveal about the son; but now the only lingering question I have is were Nick and Honey even real? If they were, what person in their right mind would ever stay in that situation for longer than like 10 minutes. They couldn't have been real. If George and Martha were already completely wasted and had their toxic marriage where it resorted to the elaborate games and scenarios, this just had to be another one, right? This film was so amazing, I had almost no idea what to expect. It was almost exhausting by the end of this rollercoaster of just raw and visceral emotion. Also can't believe Mike Nichols was able to make something so close to perfect as his first full-length film
