My local listings billed it as the 40th anniversary and an hour-long. Did they play the complete episode (approx. 25 mins. net of commercials instead of the usual 22 minute version) and what else filled the remainder of the hour?
Also, did anyone see Mr. Schulz on PBS's "American Masters" on Monday, October 29?
I not sure if they played the special long version like they have been with the Christmas special. I didn't notice anything extra or left out. I think the 40th anniversary was last year and a lot of people have read ABC's CB website for last year. The second half hour this year they played "Your Elected Charlie Brown," a show about Linus running for student body president of his school, which was appropriate this time of year.
