Live Action?

I get random emails from this casting site and a while back, one mentioned a Charlie Brown movie (note: it was like in 2005 or 2006...don't remember).

This is the plot that was in the email:

Charlie Brown is your ordinary high school student, not a care in the world. He plays baseball, and has a crush on the prettiest girl in school. But all of this changes when he finds a talking beagle under a bridge. He takes the dog home and instantly bonds with it. He decides to name it Snoopy. He quickly finds out, however, that Snoopy isn't an ordinary dog. He can play baseball, write novels, and fly an airplane. Now, it is up to Charlie and his friends to save the day when a group of foreign dog hunters (lead by a snooty french woman) come to town to try to hunt down Snoopy. With locales ranging from miles in the sky to sewer pipelines, Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang are in for one heck of an adventure.

I wasn't too happy with the high school choice. It seems that a lot of movies are doing the old high school cliche thing. Also, it seems to change a lot from the cartoons and comic strip (i mean: he finds snoopy under a bridge? wth)

But then again, it was a year or two ago, so maybe they aren't making it anymore (i'm crossing my fingers).
