We NEED Charlie Brown. Sentimental for the rest of my life

Unless you're an adult with a heart of stone, there are certain holiday television specials that keep you young at heart and emotionally comfort you throughout life's travails all the way to the end.

I've seen the Charlie Brown holiday specials ever since I was old enough to watch and understand television. I will keep doing so for the duration of my life. I don't want to become old, hardened, and embittered. The Charlie Brown holiday specials and others take me back to a warm, comfy, near-carefree time in life that helps keep my heart young even as my body ages. I feel that it's important for every grown-up to keep a little something of the child still inside their heart.

I've only seen a few on the list. But the interesting thing is while a half-hour show like this board's "Great Pumpkin" brings you a sense of tranquil reversion, I think it's much darker in its subtext.

But if you want to think of pupmkins cut-out sheets, falling leafs that's cool too.
