It wouldn't be Halloween with out it

Every year since I could remember watching the Charlie Brown Specials on CBS was a sign that the holiday times is coming. Now that its almost Halloween time I find myself not getting into the shows in ABC. It just never felt right. Come on you got the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown and then all of the other holiday classics and it just seems like I am not into watching the shows on ABC. I have the whole collection on DVD!!!! and I love it.
Anyone else feels the same way???

Agreed, strangely it doesn't feel right on ABC. Why I can't say exactly but it's like the volume on the promotions/ads that take away from the presentation. CBS was more low-keyed.

It's true, if you're used to watching a Halloween special on one network year after year, then it moves to another network, it doesn't quite feel the same. And yet, it's better than not being broadcast at all! A halloween special broadcast on TV is like a gift. If you choose to ignore it, and watch your own DVD, that's not the same. Of course if there was no broadcast of it anywhere, then you would be forced to watch the DVD. For some annual holiday specials of long ago, the only place to view them now is Youtube! At least you still can count on some comic strips for a Halloween theme on October 31st.
