surrealistic

When Linus is busy writing to the Great Pumpkin, how is it so many others happen to be there, coming, commenting and going? Snoopy, Patty, Sally, then CB himself, why are they there? Lucy's watching TV and doesn't appear to have any company. Was the Van Pelt door left open, and their friends just enter and exit at will?

And Lucy doesn't even seen to care, or notice lol

Marriage is between one man and one woman, to the exclusion of all others.

Mrs. Van Pelt was friendly with several of the other children's mothers, so the other kids probably hung out at the Van Pelts' much of the time. At
one point in the comic strip, a story that ran for several episodes concerned
her getting a pool table installed in the Van Pelt home (covered with tangerine-
colored felt). Trouble ensued when the other mothers started hanging out at the
house and shooting pool all day, neglecting their own children, which led to
a lot of animosity between Linus and Lucy and the rest of the gang.

I'm not crying, you fool, I'm laughing!
