shareTonight the original version airs . . . with 'You're Not Elected, Charlie Brown', which is several minutes shorter.
Because there were fewer minutes of commercials when 'It's The Great Pumpkin' first aired almost fifty years ago, several minutes must be cut to fit it into a half-hour time slot now. When they use the whole hour - and air the shorter special on the back end - they can play the original in its entirety. As they will tonight!
Seemed intact to me. Been a few years.
