Has anyone dressed up as the characters from the show?

So, this Halloween I'm going as Charlie Brown (complete with a bag full of rocks). The hard part was finding an old white sheet I could cut holes in... seeing how I didn't have one on hand, I went to a discount store and bought the cheapest bedroom set I could find. (Besides, I could use the pillowcases and fitted sheet.)

Anyway, has anyone dressed up as the Peanuts characters for Halloween?

reply

Almost. I went to a Thanksgiving party a few years back where the meal was toast, pretzels, jellybeans . . . the host wore a Charlie Brown shirt.

i wanted to be charlie brown this halloween but i came up with the idea too late. If I order the t-shirt online now, it might not come in time and the shipping and handling cost will be out of this world. Overnight delivery is a b*tch. Anyway, if i were charlie brown, i would just wear the charlie brown t-shirt, black shorts and brown shoes.

I just bought a yellow t-shirt and some black scrap fabric. Then cut and glued the black strip to it.

o wow. that's a really good idea and it's cheaper too. I think i might try that.

yeah, my friends and i went as the peanuts gang back in high school: we did black felt on a plain yellow tee for charlie brown, a red shirt with some black magic marker lines and a blue blanket for linus, a white sweatsuit and some black felt ears into which we tucked the girl's pigtails for snoopy, an amazing find of a blue dress at the goodwill for lucy, and a little yellow dress with some yellow feathery wings and a sprayed yellow mohawk for woodstock. it was awesome...i wish i had a picture to post!

I had razored all the hair off my head for a different costume, but the night this aired two years ago, the people at the bar decided to draw the jack o'lantern (from the show) on the back of my head with a marker.

So...sort of?

I have a little shih tzu who's black and white like Snoopy and I have an orange shirt with a pumpkin face on it. So I'm going as "The Great Pumpkin" and my dog is gonna be Snoopy.

Snoopy is a beagle.

Snoogans.

This year I'm going as Charlie Brown from the Great Pumpkin like you did. I'm also going to have a bag full of rocks.

When I was 18 I went to a college Halloween party dressed as Linus, striped shirt, blue blanket and all.

Mom kept a costume chest full of masks and random clothes from which one could assemble a costume. There was also an old sheet with two eye holes and a bunch of black circles; at least one of my sibilings had gone as Charlie Brown.

Old post, but thought I'd reply anyway. Not precisely the characters, but my wife and I did do this:
