I saw this when I was five or six back in the 70s and it scared the living hell out of me. Didn't know what it was called but nothing ever came close to that again. The first time I saw The Thing (1982's) as a teenager was not even close and it was probably my number 2 scariest. Eventually I figured out what this movie was called and got my hands on it a few years ago. No wonder it freaked me out. I was use to stuff like Godzilla and here's this guy getting "deflated" as his bones are sucked out LOL. Anyway, great flick.

Funny, I just found this movie after putting in some strange Google searches. Saw it in the early 70s several times. Never forgot the arm cutting, those things falling on people (inside a church?), weird sounds, etc.

I need to see this again!

For me it was the sound effects that creeped me out the most when I was a kid. The sucking noises when the creatures attacked the men and that weird noise they made while moving will always stay with me.

One of my all time favorite Peter Cushing movies.
