Veteran, one named (not at birth,though) French character actor b.Valentine's day (appro, it's Franc! Oui, Oui!) 1929. d.3/25/87.

I'm going to need some help here, gcarras. What are you referring to exactly?

Are we talking about that actor who played the Chief of Security at the museum? I'm not familiar with his other work but he was really funny and effective in this film.

No. The chief guard was played by Jacques Marin. Moustache played the big guard who kept sneaking drinks from a bottle hidden in the fire bucket.
