Locations

Since this move was filmed on location in Paris, could anyone tell me some of the locations? ANY would be very much appreciated. For example the Bonnet house, museum, hotel.
And, this one I cant explain properly, but the "round road" Nicole takes to go to his hotel at the beginning. I have seen it in many movies but I do not know the name

Thank you!

The answer is a long time coming, but it may have been the traffic circle or roundabout surrounding L'Arc de Triomphe, which is one of the most famous landmarks in Paris. It sits on the Place de l'Etoile (Plaza of the Star). From the circle, 12 broad avenues spread out like spokes, including the famous Champs-Elysees.

The hotel is the original Ritz at Place Vendomme.

The park they walk through after initially casing the museum, where Simon buys the boomerangs, is the park at Square Boucicaut, next to the Sevres-Babylone metro stop, near the Bon Marche.

I have tried Googling the address given by Peter O'tool to the taxi driver: "38 Rue Parmentier". There is no rue but an Ave. Parmentier. I have been to Paris 7 to 8 times but do not recognize that distinguish looking house in the movie. Finding interesting locations in movies is great. I recently noticed a scene from "An Affair To Remember" when Cary Grant took Deborrah Kerr to visit his grandmother. Lo and behold the road (they are on a horse drawn carriage) turned out to be the main road by the water at Villefranche-sur-Mer, where my apartment is.

There is a Rue Parmentier. It's a small street, just outside the "Périphérique". But it most certainly isn't the place where the house is/was (i.e. at the crossroad with a large boulevard). That is, if the Périphérique was already there in 1966...

Rome. By all means, Rome.

as i've read;

The house at 38, rue Parmentier, in Neuilly, where much of the action takes place, has since been demolished.

I'm sure the roundabout (round road) they're shown racing around is the Place Francois I, where rue Francois 1er, rue Jean Goujon and rue Bayard intersect. It's near the Champs Elysees and avenue Montaigne. the roundabout is very pretty--There are lots of good photos of it on Google maps.
