Mainly a band called 'The Sandals'

I have an mp3 called 'The Ventures - Theme from 'The Endless Summer'
Can't verify the band (although it could be The Ventures)
Saw the movie when it first came out - still reckon it's great.

The Sandals did the song, though im not sure if it has a title or just "The Endless Summer Song"

The Sandals were originally known as the Twangs, a group formed by Walter Georgis and his brother Gaston. They were joined by John Blakeley, John Gibson and Danny Brawner and became The Sandells. The changed their name to The Sandals to better fit the mood of "The Endless Summer". They were the first surf-rock group to score a surf film.

go to www.tri-surf.com and also check out the other cds there. the sandals are awesome, but gaston's son is putting out some amazing music too. i highly recommend.

It's called "The Endless Summer" by the Sandals. The song might be even more famous than the movie.
