Does anybody know who sang the song "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch"?

According to the trivia section, Thurl Ravenscroft sang "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch".

BTW, Thurl Ravenscroft (what a cool name!) also did the voice of Tony the Tiger.

It had occurred to me this song sounds a lot like George & Ira Gershwin's "It Ain't Necessarily So" from 'Porgy and Bess'. Now when I hear one song I start singing the other.
