Doesn't Thurl Ravenscroft's singing voice....

....remind you of James Earl Jones? I've never heard James Earl Jones sing nor do I know if he can, but if he was a singer he would sound like Ravenscroft. Thurl Ravenscroft sings like a deep voiced black man.

Peace.

Thurl died last year. His voice was even deeper and richer than Jone's.

Ravenscroft's singing voice may be, but his regular speaking voice wasn't. Jones is the better speaker and Ravenscroft was the better singer.

This is not to bash Jones at all as he is a great vocal actor but listening to Tony the Tiger all these years I would say that Thurls speaking voice was just as good as Jones.
