The skeleton found by Tuco inside the wrong coffin at Sad Hill Cemetery, was a real human skeleton. A deceased Spanish actress who wrote in her will she wanted to act even after her death.
Where did I dig that up you may ask? IMDB. It means that Arch Stanton was played by a woman. Yup, groundbreaking!
Anyway I'm planning to do a sequel. Anyone know who Eli Wallach's and Lee Van Cleef's agents are? Clint Eastwood is already onboard!

I wonder if that actress is still posthumously "acting".

I'm writing a prequel now: Arch Stanton and his girlfriend, the actress named Emma Harris whose actual skeleton is in the grave. The backstory will take place from 1830 to Arch's death on Feb. 3rd, 1862. He was a Union soldier and one of the first to die by Confederate General Sibley's men in New Mexico.
