CIIZEN KANE, widely regarded as the best film ever made, rates an 8.5 and THIS rates a 9.0. Not saying it's a bad film but BETTER than CITIZEN KANE? Not to anyone who actually knows ANYTHING about movies.
Why bother to have a rating system when it comes up with ridiculous ratings like this?

Nice list. So glad to see so much Bergman on there. He was so revered when I was in college, but, now that he is gone, I rarely see him mentioned any more. Nice to see that he has not been forgotten.
shareThe Good, the Bad and the Ugly is miles better, an epic movie with amazing characters and a far superior soundtrack, Citizen Kane is forgettable compared to Leone's masterpiece.
shareWell, guess what, we have a difference of opinion and, foolish me, I am so conventional that I agree with the international critics, which ALWAYS place Citizen Kane at 1 or 2 among the best films ever made. But, hey, if you prefer the Leone western, cool.
No it's just based on perspective. Majority of people like this movie far more than Citizen Kane.
