What is the Appeal?
This was one of the few films in the top 250 I had not seen so last night I decided to give it a shot. It felt like a story that has always existed, if that makes sense. Timeless (the quality of the blu-ray definitely helped). It was a good movie, but I fail to see why it is so beloved. What is it about this movie that struck a chord with so many? I liked it, but I don't think I will ever watch it again. Can someone change my mind? Is there historical context I need to know in order to truly appreciate the film?
