Voice of Simon Bar-Sinister

Im rather confused on this fact

as a child watching Underdog (which was my all time favorite next to Tom and Jerry) I was always under the impression that Lionel Barrymore did the voice of Simon Bar-Sinister and even in the interview with co-creater Joe Harris on the DVD collection he states that Barrymore did the voice and even made reference to his sinister roll in "its a wonderful life".

But

According to IMDB Barrymore died in 1954.....so i think im just going to assume that both me and Harris are losing it in our old age lol

Harris must have been joking, unless Barrymore did indeed do the voice characterization as a reanimated corpse. :-)

Funny, but I was an adult when I finally saw the connection between Bar-Sinister and Barrymore. Of course, I hadn't seen any Lionel Barrymore films until I was an adult (I have made up for that over the years :-).

No blah, blah, blah!

Allen Swift did Bar Sinister's voice, but he was doing a pretty darn good Lionel Barrymore impression. Ben Stone's "Cad" seems to waver between a Moe Howard impression and a so-so Bogart.
