Underdog's real name?

i have so far only read it was shoeshine boy but is that correct? I thought he had an actual name. if anyone knows please fill me in!

Aside from "Shoeshine Boy" I don't think he did.

Hey, is anybody familiar with that weird female performance artist who used to call herself "Underdog?"

Yeah, it's Shoeshine boy. However, in the 2007 movie his name is simply "Shoeshine" when Dan (Jim Belushi) named him that for licking his shoe. He's Shoeshine and not Shoeshine Boy.
