Has any band done a cover of the underdog theme song?

yes its on an album called saturday morning cartoons greatest hits from the mid to late 90s. (actually it was one of the first cds i ever bought) the song was redone by the butthole surfers. really catchy too im listening to it right now.

Even though my daughters have largely traded away the CDs they had when they were younger, they still have that one.

A barbershop quartet version was sung in an episode of Scrubs. Beautifully done.

Wu Tang Clan rapped over the Underdog music in their 1993 hit Wu Tang Clan Aint Nuthin' To *beep* With.

The Plain White Tees also did a pretty good cover of the theme for the live-action film, which I never actually watched, just the credit sequence. You can't get it on the soundtrack though.
