When does the DVD box set of the series come out?

I realize that it's going to take a lot of editing to put it together, but it's a project that is overdue.

I'll buy one for sure. I'll camp overnight outside Best Buy if I have to.

There have been some DVDs already, but they are hard to find now. I hope there is a new release with the complete series. I'd be buying it too. For now, I'm hunting down these rare DVDs.

Amazon has listed for release July 24th, 2007: Ultimate Underdog.

Three seperate DVD's, 120 minutes, 1 disk each.

Listed as complete episodes for Polly, Simon, and Riff-Raff.

What "complete episodes" means in anyones guess, but it's on the way.

Which probably means you'll get the butchered versions - since it's Classic Media putting them out again since they still retain the rights - meaning no original titles, or Underdog Show weeks to come bumpers and episodes will be chopped (none of "There's plenty of excitement ahead in our next episode" narration). CM edited those out in the 2000 and 2002 DVDs so as to run the four-part stories as one full length 18 minute episode. I do, however, hope they show uncovered gems like THE PHONEY BOOTHS, RIFFRAFFVILLE, THE GREAT GOLD ROBBERY, BATTY MAN, THE MOLEMEN and even SIMON SAYS BE MY VALENTINE! By the way, if anyone has BOOMERANG TV, the Underdog show is airing on Saturdays and Sundays ONLY from 10am to 10:30am (Central Time in the Midwest).

I purchased all three DVDs at Best Buy on the 24th and have watched the first two so far.
There has been some noticible editing done -- besides the loss of voice-overs connecting the various segments, it seems as if poor Underdog has lost his trademarked speaking-in-rhyme as several phrases seem to have been cut short. Also, through the first two discs, I have seen Underdog take his Power Pill a total of one time.
The Tennessee Tuxedo, Fox & Hunter, Col. McBragg, etc episodes are included but a little tricky to access. (It has struck me that some of the ethnic/racial sterotypes shown in the Go Go Gophers, Klondike Kat, and others have been 'toned down' somehow, but I could be wrong...)
But at only $9.99 each, not too bad, IMHO.

Censorship. Not good. ... in animation? Strange.

It's a touchy subject.
I don't suppose that we'll ever get actual complete box sets of the entire series, will we?
