What's the story on why he replaced Peter Lupus in the opening credits midway through Season 5 ?
shareThe producers wanted to get rid of Lupus, cause he wasn't a good actor. But the fans would have none of it. So that's why Lupus stayed and Elliott was given his walking papers. I think Greg Morris was the one that said Lupus got more fan mail than the rest of the cast.
