Do you agree with the show...

Yes, if done (IMHO) correctly.

What I have posted below is, in part, a re-print from another thread entitled Revival.

"I have long thought that any re-boot either as a TV series or as a movie franchise, should take Mission: Impossible back to its roots in the early Cold War... late 1940's/1950's, to show how IMF was formed. Maybe even with a younger Dan Briggs and Jim Phelps together!"

Using any and all of the same team members, and also the technology that was current to that time period. A follow-on question, who could be cast as Briggs, Phelps, Hand, Carter, Collier, and Armitage?

No. The first time it was rebooted in the 1980's the results were not pretty. Besides, I don't think that the Chinese film companies that are helping financing the movies would like it. After all, why pay to see MI movies when you can watch a MI series at home for free?

I am a very hard core MI fan, but let's show some respect. Some things are perfect the first time, they don't need to be brought back (are you listening, whoever had the bright idea to reboot Ben Hur?)
