shareWould you have done the same for Cleveland Indians fans? And for the record, I'm a Yankee fan.

Thanks. The last 7 seasons have been rough, though. Who's your favorite team?

The Anaheim Angels. The only time they won the World Series was back in 2002 (I think). However, I think the last time the Dodgers won was back in the mid-eighties.
BTW, are you going to go see Dr. Strange this weekend? I plan to go on Sunday because there's a theater near my house that only charges five dollars on Sundays and Tuesdays if one has a certain membership card, (which of corsce I do).

So I'm guessing you're a So Cal girl? Unless my nephew wants to see it. I can't go to the movies without him. Of course it's okay if he sees them without me. That's allowed.

More like a SoCal late middle age woman. If you'd like, I can let you know how the movie is, so you and your nephew can decide if you want to spend your money on it.
And, since you seem to be a SciFi fan, I thought there are a couple of movies that iI thought you might want to see.
The 1st one is Arrival, which opens on Nov.11. It's one of those aliens come to Earth to visit us movies.
The 2nd one is called Passengers. Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt play the generic passengers on a colony ship too soon.

My nephew is 9, so keep that in mind. Just let me if you enjoyed it. BTW, he's a young 9, if you know what I mean? In my younger days, when reading comic books, I always thought Dr. Strange was very cerebral. Still one of my favorites.
Their was a movie from the 90's called The Arrival with Charlie Sheen. That is one of my favorite SciFi and definitely my favorite Charlie Sheen movie. Off the top of my head my favorite SciFi movie is The Andromeda Strain. It had this documentary feel to it. I'm talking about the one from the 60's, that movie never gets old for me.
When I was a child my favorite movie was a SciFi one, The Omega Man with Charleton Heston. Tell you how messed up my childhood was. Other kids like Willy Wonka, Wizard of Oz or a Disney classic, not me. I was thinking outside the box even then.

I don't think liking Omega Man as a child makes you messed up. My favorite movie since I was 12 years old is All About Eve!
I'll be sure to let you know my opinions on those movies soon.
