METV

Currently METV is showing Mission: Impossible at 11pm on Sunday night. I've been recording them. However, I noticed we have not been able to watch the first full season. I think they got about five episodes in then suddenly changed to Season Two. Anyone know why they did this? Was it because Jim Phelps is a more popular leader than Dan Briggs? It just upsets me because I have yet to see the first full season on TV although I've gone through a few over on You Tube. Thanks.

i remember they use to do this back 20 years ago. they would rarely show the first season.

That's just not right.

And I don't think METV has it on their schedule anymore.

i noticed. not happy they did away with the Sunday spy shows. every now and then you can catch an ep of MI on Decades.

I read somewhere that the reason that the first season isn't shown in syndication too much is that people are so used to seeing the Peter Graves seasons that they get a little confused and/or upset about Stephen Hill in season one.
