Remember when we were kids and the last bowl game of the year was the Rose Bowl? And that was Jan 1st and there was no more until next year. Too bad we can't go back to those days. As you know, the Rose Bowl is the granddaddy of them all.

The furthest west I ever been is Phoenix. I remember being there and seeing Palm trees for the 1st time and I was blown away by them. When I was in the Army and my roommate saw snow for the 1st time, he was in awe of it. He said when it was snowing, "WOW! It's so quiet". I never notice that before until he said it.
