Looks so great on Amazon prime in 1080p
I dunno if they remastered it or if the source files were just in excellent condition but man does it look good.

shareI've got to agree although on the close ups you can see they didn't feel the need for a lot of pancake? makeup and some of the actors complexions could have used a bit of cover up but on standard definition it wasn't needed. I'm watching it on an iPad of my brothers' as he got the subscription for the Grand Tour program. I was a bit disappointed in there minuscule selection of free with subscription vintage programs I like.
For me I can't afford to pay to watch Monk, Psych, Rockford, Magnum P.I., Columbo, Hardcastle and McCormick (unavailable that I can find finished summer run on Heroes and Icons could come back), Greatest American Hero, and a few other I would like to have for streaming but rights holders should realize that their customers are getting older and their holdings will have little value if they aren't available to be appreciated by a younger audience and most will not pay to buy their own copies and few will be willing to pay by episode as one of the options for Monk on Amazon asks.
Some of the programs are not even available to stream.
I do DVR some of these programs but the old Comcast DVR doesn't hold that much and I have to delete as I go although I have a few original broadcast show from several years ago saved but that uses the middling amount of space.
