Why isn't Oswald arrested for the umbrella shop?
When Batman and Robin confront Oswald about the rigged umbrellas, the older man's defense is that he does not decide how his customers use the items and therefore may not be taken to jail. Batman says that the line is true, but I don't see why. It doesn't matter that Oswald is not responsible for what others do with the umbrellas. The fact remains that he is selling illegal devices.
