Why was King Tut never seen in any other version?

No. There most likely was not an actor of the caliber Victor Buono was to properly portray Tut.

Theres a new Batman movie coming out I think next year. In the sequel to this upcoming film, the villain will be King Tut with a revived mummy from 5000 years ago
