Soundtrack CD exists!

There is a recent German original soundtrack CD which I've just bought after a little search - the sound is OK, but not perfect - it is the original 60's recording and hasn't been remastered. Comes with a bonus of the soundtrack of "The Cardinal". Bought through Play.com at £13 inc postage - not brilliant, but tolerable given the rarity. Sorry Amazon, but my order through you was cancelled after a fortnight "No longer available". I did try..!
Details -( may be cheaper through Germany) - Tsunami TSU0117 "Die Normannen Kommen"
Barcode number 4 011550 701176

Thank you for the info. That's good news. I've always thought that the music in "The War Lord" was great.

There was a CD released in the USA by Varese Sarabande in the 1980's that was an official re-release from the MCA Records vaults. It sounds fine but can be kind of procey.

I've got a copy of the Varese Sarabande recording of the film music from "The War Lord." I am not sure how much I spent for it but I do like it. I believe I purchased it from Critic's Choice. Universal Studios must have been on the budgeting side as the film music featured on this recording actually appears in the film so don't expect any bonus tracks on this CD.
