Dude, your site is AMAZING. AWESOME. I mean this. I have spent several hours reading interviews, viewing lobby cards and promotional stills, reading articles, etc. I bought this movie because I'm a Johnny Crawford fan and I'm meeting him this weekend. Obviously, I have seen The Rifleman (many, many times) but I owned two movies he was in that I hadn't yet seen: The Restless Ones and Village of the Giants. I decided I should watch both before meeting him and then see if he would autograph them at the convention I am going to.
I think the IMDb rating is harsh. I gave it a solid 6. I personally found the first half of the film to be not so great (notable exception - the twerking ducks! That scene will never get old and ofcourse Johnny swinging off of Joy Harmon's boobage) but I thought the second half of the film was good. I enjoyed Tommy Kirk's "David and Goliath" attempted take down of the Giants, especially the cocky Beau Bridges. I thought it was pretty tense when the Sherrif's daughter was kidnapped and I liked the standoff where the "good" teens did everything they could to take their town back.
Anyways, all this to say, I truly loved your website. Have you tried messaging Johnny on Facebook? He is extremely active, posting multiple times a day and he likes people's comments and even sometimes replies to us. And from everything I've seen, he seems to be cool as hell. I think he might give you an interview! He is a really interesting FUNNY guy with a really quirky sense of humor. He is very self-deprecating. I think he would be an awesome addition to the interviews on the site. My apologies if you have already tried this.
