They should have found some more money for the jetpack stuntman

I know the budget was through the roof and this was like the only guy qualified to fly this thing, but it's dumb as hell watching Bond put his nerdy little helmet on. What's that thing gonna do with a fall from the sky anyhow? They should have found some money to throw at that fool to get him on board.

Or. It's a quick shot, man. The whole sequence is like ten seconds long and you can barely make the guy out anyhow. Maybe just have the closeups of Bond with no helmet and not care about the sloppy fit of the action sequences. There's plenty of other goofy scenes in this flick with the sped up motion. Or hell, just glue a glue a wig to the helmet. That mightta worked too. But all you remember from the scene is the closeups of Bond anyhow. It's the opening scene of the film, it sets the tone for the whole thing.
