A true horror film and Superb cinematography

Just saw it a few minutes ago. Wow. Its finally great to see a film that doesn't concern itself with narrative that much and just dives straight into an insane mind. The cinematography is stunning, some of the best ever, but what else can you expect from Roman Polanski (and cinematographer Gil Taylor, who also shot Dr. Strangelove). This is a true horror film. It didn't scare me or startle me. It HORRIFIED me. The rape scenes, the hallway of hands, the murders, everything. All captured in glorious long takes and striking compositions. And how can I forget Catherine Deneuve in one of my favorite performances ever.

Please see this if you haven't already, for your own sake.

A masterpiece. To me, is one of the most influential psychological horror movies of all time. Most amazing of all, we learn in the special features(Blu-ray) that there was no money for special effects, so the crew had to create them. REPULSION is one of the greatest special effects movies ever made.
