Ummm, it says on imdb that she was born 1920. This movie came out in '65. She doesn't look more than 25 in the movie. . .someone help me out here, usually I'm good at guessing a relative age. . but to be off my 20+ years. .

I think you're confusing Shelly Winters, who played the mother, with Elizabeth Hartman, who played the blind woman. Winters was 45 when the movie came out, and Hartman was 22.

The reason they put Shelly Winters on the cover and not Elizabeth Hartman was because in that time Sidney and Shelly were very well known actors. This was Elizabeth's first ever film so by putting Winters name they know they'll get a lot of people to see it. It's propaganda!!
