'A Patch of Blue' Featurette

"A Patch of Blue" was on TV last night, and I instantly recognized it as the subject of a short featurette I once saw that focused on Elizabeth Hartman, the Hollywood audition process, and the filming of the pay phone sequence. Has anyone else ever seen it? It must have originally been shown as a reel short in the 1960s, but I saw it on television (most likely on TCM or AMC), approximately 10 years ago. I remember being intrigued by the featurette, but I was never able to recall the title of the movie. I'm glad I finally got to see it!

yeah, I saw the featurette on TCM right before the movie. that was several months ago, right after Shelley Winters died, I think, and they played a lot of her movies. The movie came on at like 5 in the morning, so I woke up just long enough to see the feature and start recording the movie
