What was Gordon's profession?
He said he works nights, and he is obviously in a "profession" that involves a certain amount of education and such. I was thinking he may have been a reporter, but I don't remember the movie ever making it clear.
shareI watched the film twice last week, and I couldn't for the life of me figure out what went on in his office. Because he began work at 5 pm, I first assumed he was at a newspaper, but the office layout didn't seem to match what I know newsrooms looked like back then. Maybe it was a weekly, instead of daily paper. I didn't see any women, either.
