Joyboy and Mom steal the show
This film is memorable in many respects, but as a gross-out aficianado, my hat goes off to Mr. Joynoy and Mom, especially wgen she knocks the refrigerator over. Absolutely the ultimate in delicious depravity.

The whole movie was. That's why I loved it. Don't know about you but Anjanette
Comer drove me out of my mind.

Didja ever read the book by Evelyn Waugh? Probably not. Not much like the movie.
Nothing is more beautiful than nothing.

Ever been to the real Disneyland for Shut Ins -- Forest Lawn?
Nothing is more beautiful than nothing.

Been there? Heck, I worked there!!! Beautiful place with beautiful artwork, and during those stressful days there was nothing more peaceful than to go for a walk in the cemetery. The Loved One perfectly captured the attitude held by the higher ups of Forest Lawn, it amused me immensely to watch it. It's a gorgeous place, but sadly the attitudes of the management there stinks. They feel like they are such a prestigious place that if you do business with them or employed by them, that you should feel privileged to do so. And, if you choose to part ways, they are like a jealous lover who won't take you back.

...
those scenes do stick out in my mind...unfortunately.
shareThat scene shows why you should always defrost your freezer.
You've got me?! Who's got you?!
Can't help wondering if Mom was the inspiration for Edith Massey's character The Egg Lady in Pink Flamingos.
