Robert Easton as Dusty Acres
I suppose it`s sort of an in-joke. Robert Easton, playing the cowboy star Dusty Acres, being given elocution lessons from Sir Francis Hinsely (John Gielgud). Of course, Easton was among the top elocution coaches in Hollywood at the time (and a busy character actor) who would later teach Laurence Olivier to talk American in The Betsy.
