Can anyone tell me the title of a similar movie from, I'm guessing the 60's, where a crew is plane-wrecked, but unbeknownst to them, they are actually all dead and only "disappear" from the story when their body has been found? In the end, there is one left whose body is never recovered and is doomed to be alone with the plane in the desert for eternity? I think it's the Captain who is left. I saw this movie many, many, many years ago and have had no luck jogging my memory as to its title, or who any of the actors were. Thanks for any help

Hello wherever you are; the flick yer searching for is "Sole Survivor" and a very good one made for tv in 1970 with William Shatner as one of the stars. Getting a copy of it will be next to impossible, but give it a try.

Apparently, both "Flight of the Phoenix" and "King Nine Will Not Return" are based on the story of the Lady Be Good.
