Was the monkey in this film the same one that was in the science fiction film made the year before - ROBINSON CRUSOE ON MARS (1964)?

I got no clue but was so freaking happy when it made it. Was like "YEAH! THEY GOT THE MONKEY!!!" and I have no clue why. Just liked it I guess, like I hated Alien (costume looks like they gave up from the midsection down) but thought it was cool she got out with the cat.
