Does anyone know the singer/song sung in the beginning of the movie - female singer on the transistor radio?

If you watch the opening credits of the 1965 version the details of the song etc are there. I just watched the film again yesterday and think that the same song was used in the recent horror film GHOST SHIP. Have'nt checked as my Ghost Ship dvd is at my sister in laws. But sure of it, and yes its a damn nice song too.

But I haven't checked into this sight in a while and even then do not read all posts. Great Song/Great Flick. It woulda' been cool to have the guy's finally land at that alternate airport and go into a pub and witness Connie Francis singing the song.
