Mistake - SPOILERS
Why did the girl, Bunny, have an English accent? She spoke near the end of the film.
shareI watched this movie for the first time yesterday. At first I thought Bunny said "mommy" in the American way but then sounded English in the other few words she said.
As people have said in another thread it was probably just because it was filmed in England and the producers couldn't get an American girl for the part (cost, child labour laws etc). At 4 or 5 years old I doubt children understand how to mimic other accents.
