The Coo Coo Clock gives away the ending...

How could you miss it?

I never noticed that before -- just caught it in today's viewing.

I've seen this several time before noticing the cuckoo clock! hmmm..Preminger being subtle...shocking!

I saw the film for the first time on DVD a couple of weeks ago, and I remembered it (in fact, it occurs twice) after I finished watching it.

It was very good and hilarious use of foreshadowing!

I thought the film is better than its reputation.

There was all kinds of creepy foreshadowing in this movie. Some lines in the rock band's lyrics, Noel Coward's (the Landlord's) creepy words and characterization,
Carol Lynley's appearing at her brother's bath (Little Bunny will need major psychological help in the end, I am sure)... Also very blond siblings, especially in a sister-brother situation, often times reflect incest in movies and books, thus "deviancy."

I'm confused - how does the coo coo clock give away the ending?
